- VSAT Internet Installation, Federal College of Horticulture, Dadinkowa, Gombe State, October, 2008
- This work was carried is in November 2008. It involves the supply of C-Band VSAT equipment as well as installation. The bandwidth configured was a 128/256kbs connected to the global Internet backbone.
A local area network (LAN) was also designed and implemented for the library and Administration Office. Ethernet topology was implemented using UTP CAT5e cable. The physical topology implementation is a star. The LAN is made up about 40 points with 2 switches to segment the network. Also, a router was used to connect the LAN to the Wide Area Network (WAN), thus the Internet.
